How It Works

  • Pick Your Game

    One to three hours, daytime or glow after dark. Every package includes gear for 10 players, ages 5 and up.

  • Check Your Space and Date

    A 30x40 ft open space is ideal and 25x30 ft works. Send us the date, the address and what you have.

  • We Build the Field

    Your Game Master arrives with the bunkers, a mask for every player and all the gellyball gear, and sets up the field.

  • Game On

    A safety briefing, then round after round until time is up. Then we pack it all away.

Birthday Parties

The party the whole class talks about on Monday. The birthday kid gets the field, the guests get a Game Master, and with everyone from age 5 up welcome, the grown-ups can play too.

A gellyball station that runs itself: our staff keep the rotation moving while teachers keep the schedule. The ammo is non-staining, so everyone goes back to class clean.

A special-event afternoon for your campers. The Game Master gives every group a safety briefing before its first round and runs the field from start to finish.

What Is Gellyball, or Jelly Ball?

Gellyball is a low-impact alternative to paintball, played with gel blasters that fire gellyball ammo instead of paint. Players take cover behind bunkers, every player wears a mask, and a Game Master runs the rounds.

The ammo is non-toxic, non-staining and biodegradable, and safe for pets, yards and people. No paint on the fence, and no ruined party clothes.

Will it fit? We recommend a 30x40 ft space; 30x50 ft is even better, and 25x30 ft is workable. A backyard, a school field, a church lawn or a park can all work.

After dark, it glows: blacklights around the field and glow-in-the-dark ammo, at any package length from one to three hours.

Gellyball Questions, Answered

Does gellyball hurt? Is it safe for kids?
No, it doesn't hurt. Gellyball is low impact: you can feel a hit, about like the snap of a rubber band, but it's gentle enough for kids as young as 5. Every player wears a mask for every round, and the Game Master starts each game with a safety briefing and stays on the field until the last round.
Are parents allowed to play gellyball?
Absolutely, and they usually want to. The same gear works for kids and grown-ups, so parents, older siblings and even grandparents can take a round. Kids against the parents is one of the best ways to end a birthday party. Just count any adults who want to play in your headcount.
Is gellyball the same as gel blasters, gel ball or gel tag?
Pretty much. Gel blasters, gel ball, gel tag and gellyball are all names for the same kind of game, played with blasters that fire small gel beads instead of paint. Gellyball Adventures is the staffed, mobile version: we bring the field, the gear and a Game Master to you.
Is gellyball ammo like Orbeez?
It's a similar idea: small gel beads, not paint and not hard pellets. Our gellyball ammo is non-toxic, non-staining and biodegradable, and safe for pets, yards and people, so there's nothing to scrub or hose off when the last round ends.
What's the difference between gellyball and paintball?
Gellyball is a low-impact alternative to paintball. There's no paint, so nothing stains; players can start at age 5; and instead of driving everyone to a paintball field, the whole game comes to your backyard, school, church or venue, with a Game Master to run it.
Is it jelly ball, gelly ball or gellyball?
All three, depending on who you ask. Jelly ball, gelly ball and gellyball all mean the same game, and people search for every spelling. We spell it gellyball, and whatever you call it, the party works exactly the same way.

Can more than 10 kids play at once?
Yes. Every package includes gear for 10 players, and you can add kits when you book so more players are on the field at the same time. The Game Master can also rotate groups through, or do both, so a big guest list or a whole class still gets plenty of rounds.
